CHAPTER 1: INTRODUCTION
1.1  WHAT IS GAME ARCHITECTURE
The game architecture is been created by the code necessary to create modem games in anything but simple. Gone are the days when the source code for a full game was just a couple of files and we didn’t have to worry about overall structure and architecture. In today’s games, code bases exceeding a million lines of code, it is vitally important to have a well defined architecture in order to let the players have a good visualize of the game and experience the architecture and spaces in the game.
1.2  WHAT IS ONLINE GAME
An online game is a video game played through some form of computer network. This network can usually the internet or advance technology, games have always used whatever current technology such as modems before internet, and hard wired terminals before modems. The development of online gaming had reflected the overall expansion of computer networks from small local networks to the internet and the growth of internet access itself. Many online games have associated online communities, making online games a form of social activity beyond single player games. Thus, the video games played over internet can let the multiple players in different locations across the worlds played game together, communicated, knowing new friends, team works, and helped each other in game. This type of online gaming is named as Massively Multiplayer Online Games (MMOG) that allow a large number of players to participate simultaneously over an internet connection. MMOG showed the good socialize and communication between human and human thus I choose this type of game to support my issue in dissertation. The picture below show the multiple players gather together in order to communicate and done their quest in the game.

1.3  AIM AND OBJECTIVES
The aim of my dissertation is to understand how the online game architecture influence in future world architecture movement.
My objective is to study about relationship between online games architecture and real world architecture. Secondly is to examine the development of online game architecture and real world architecture. Then, will be examined the influence between game architecture and real world architecture between each others. To investigate the communication between game world and real world, in order to help in generating ideas for people. Lastly will be investigated how does game architecture interact with architects toward future architecture development.
1.4  HYPOTHESIS
The game architecture is an element to improve real world architecture and create new architecture in future.
1.5  SCOPE OF STUDY
The people that I will be interview will be game designer, interior designer, architects, hardcode gamer and gamers. Besides, I will be doing survey on different age people to support the dissertation statement.

1.6  RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

The research methodology that had been carried out is to detailed study about the relationship between game architecture and real world architecture, and influence between both game architecture and real world architecture from historical to now. Besides, reading from websites, forum, articles where gamers and game developer discussion, experience, on gaming architecture should be carried out.  In addition, surveys must be conducted to get major info in how people and architects reach towards game and visualize the game towards future. Furthermore, interview will be carried out to get the view of future architecture from different related firm. Lastly, personal experience and analysis on online games will be carried out to understand better on the issue.

What is online game?
An online game is a video game played over some form of computer network. This network is usually the internet or equivalent technology, but games have always used whatever technology was current: modems before the Internet, and hard wired terminals before modems.

Rationale
The reason why I chose this topic is because I found out that the architecture in video games are much more futuristic, interesting design than the real word architecture. From this point, I would like to examine that the creative and crazy idea from the cyberspace architecture would bring to the real word architecture.
